QUIZ

A comprehensive Mental Illness Awareness program encompassing warning signs, causes, research, treatment and prevention/intervention can be introduced to intermediate, secondary, and college-level classrooms in a five-module format which can be presented in a basic five-day/five hour program. This curriculum is offered free of charge through the American Psychiatric Association in their "Mental Illnesses Awareness Guide" for educators.
The guide offers mental illness awareness program ideas, sample classroom plans, a resource listing, pamphlet order form, materials request card and a listing of American Psychiatric Association local contacts. To request a free copy fax a request to the division of Communications and Marketing.
The fax number is 202-682-6255.
