The website aims to educate people about depression, offer a simple and confidential way to get screened for the illness, and guide people toward appropriate professional help when necessary. The National Eating Disorder Association website offers information about NEDA and about eating disorders. NEDA offers programs and curriculum materials to pevent eating disorders, and operates referral and information services to help people with an eating disorder.

The NCPTSD was created within the Department of Veterans Affairs to address the needs of veterans with military-related PTSD. Their website, however, has a tremendous collection of resources concerning PTSD and other enduring consequences of traumatic stress both military and non-military. In addition to fact sheets and other informational resources, one can also access the PILOTS database, an electronic index to the worldwide literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health consequences of exposure to traumatic events.
