2011 Project Goals:
Present a video entitled “Problems and Possibilities”, a collaborative adaptive education program to train staff at schools colleges and mental health agencies to be more objective and compassionate and less judgmental in work with students who have emotional disabilities and parents who have psychiatric diagnoses. Video is presented in conjunction with a panel discussion.
Continue visits to youth in behavioral health unit at local hospital and bring “comfort bags” that contain a fuzzy blanket, a book or game, a stuffed animal, and a hand-quilted pillow case.
