The Internet offers vast resources to benefit the policy advocate. The following are web sites that we at MHANYS find useful. All the sites offer links to other helpful sites as well.

New York State laws and current legislation are available though either the NYS Assembly's website or the NYS Senate's website.

FedLaw includes Federal law, statutes (the United States Code) and regulations (the Code of Federal Regulations, the Federal Register, and Executive Orders.

Current Federal legislative information, including bill status, summary, and text, as well as the Congressional Record and committee reports are available through the Library of Congress: http://thomas.loc.gov/.

Find your state and federal elected representatives for NYS at the NYS Board of Elections website.
